Citizen of the world
The Citizen of the World project is a two-year Erasmus+ initiative that supports teachers and school leaders in integrating EU key competencies with the principles of Montessori education at the elementary level.
The aim is to create an openly accessible digital resource—a practical guide and online platform—that demonstrates how key competencies can be developed in Montessori classrooms, both theoretically and practically.
Main Objectives:
• Support cooperation among partners and share professional expertise in the field of key competencies.
• Connect schools with methodological centers and innovative approaches across the EU.
• Create the “Citizen of the World Guidelines,” presenting best practices for developing key competencies in Montessori elementary classrooms.
