Erdkinder Montessori & Farm School
Erdkinder is a Montessori concept for adolescents (ages 12–18) that connects learning with real life: work, community, responsibility, and nature. In the authentic environment of a farm, young people create, explore, and learn meaningfully through real-life projects.
About the Project:
The Montessori Erdkinder & Farm School project brings an innovative and practically oriented approach to education. It is based on the Montessori philosophy, which connects learning with everyday life, nature, and meaningful work. Children do not only learn “about the world,” but learn to live in it.
The main goal of the project is to develop sustainability, environmental awareness, and a responsible approach to the world. At the same time, it supports cooperation between schools at an international level and contributes to improving the quality of education across Europe.
The project was created as a joint initiative of Montessori schools from different European countries, united by the same vision – to educate children for life in harmony with nature and the real world.
